The Silver Spirit was introduced in 1980 as the successor to Rolls-Royce’s successful Silver Shadow model. As is always the case with Rolls-Royce, technical advancements were made in small, incremental steps. One significant improvement, however, was the upgraded rear axle. When the second model series was introduced in 1990, the vehicles were also equipped with fuel injection, which delivered more power and lower fuel consumption.

As is almost always the case with Rolls-Royce, the design was developed in-house—Fritz Feller is responsible for its sleek lines.

Our car is a right-hand drive model and was registered in England in April 1990. In Germany, this car would have cost just under 300,000 marks when new.

The current owner purchased the Silver Spirit in England in May 2018. Since then, he has invested over €10,000 in the car. Receipts for these expenses are available. In particular, a major inspection was performed, and the brakes, suspension, and air conditioning were overhauled. The tires were replaced in 2024. There is no backlog of maintenance.

The interior is also in excellent condition, with minimal signs of wear.

The car has a total mileage of just under 96,000 kilometers.

A 2024 appraisal report is available, stating a value of €29,000 and a condition rating of “2+”.
