Here you can expect exciting quiz questions about our classic cars on a regular basis.

Welcome to our
Classic Car Quiz!

Our videos in the “Der Doc fährt” series have established themselves and found an interested audience. Many viewers have a profound knowledge of classic cars, which they repeatedly demonstrate in the video comments – a real asset.

A YouTube subscriber gave me the idea of highlighting and appreciating this knowledge in quiz form.
That's why, starting at the end of 2024, we will be integrating a classic car quiz into a YouTube video once a month. These videos are marked with this symbol

Automuseum Melle

Automuseum Melle: For 40 years now, the Automuseum Melle has been showcasing the history of the automobile as a garage of memories with over 300 vehicles from different eras. What makes it special is that all the vehicles are roadworthy, are regularly driven and also exchanged, so that the exhibition remains alive. Special exhibitions round off the program. Heiner Rössler, a veteran classic car enthusiast and co-initiator of the museum, is helping us to create the quiz questions.

How much and what significance did the three letters “DKW” have in the company's history?

    DKW had four meanings:

    • “Dampf-Kraft-Wagen” (steam-powered car) as the starting point for two unsuccessful prototypes
      of this design in 1916

... and then there was the Kühl-Wunder (Cooling Wonder) for a refrigerator that was produced in
