Land Rover Santana 2500 Super Turbo (1984) - sold!

The 1984 Land Rover Santana (Spanish licensee for Land Rover) for sale was extensively restored just over 5 years ago for an enthusiast at a company specializing in Land Rovers and has since been driven a good 35,000 kilometers.

During the restoration, damage to the frame and bodywork was repaired. The chassis, mechanics, and engine were overhauled. All seals were replaced and the fittings were re-galvanized. The car has original power steering and front disc brakes.

The dashboard and seats, as well as the two rear benches, were covered with brown, weather-resistant imitation leather. The Land Rover is painted in Pastel Green – a very attractive color combination overall.

The engine has a turbo and therefore 75 hp, which is a few more than the English original. The five-speed transmission already has a kind of overdrive. These Santana transmissions, which are considered to be very durable, were installed by Land Rover in the V8 Series III vehicles. The car is registered as a 7-seater and, of course, has an H license plate.

This model formed the bridge to the Defender, but still has a lot to offer from the Series III model – a very nice combination.

The Land Rover was driven in Spain until 2022, which certainly helped to prevent major rust damage to the bodywork.

With its large tires and attractive appearance, the Land Rover is an absolute fun car and can be used in any weather, but of course, with the canvas top open, it is a feast for the eyes and a great pleasure to drive.

The car has spent the last two years in Portugal and is being sold for personal reasons.

An appraisal from 2022 is available.

The TÜV and AU are valid until August 2026.

The Land Rover Santana is a collectable car because...

  • ... it has been restored and is in very solid condition
  • ... it perfectly combines the technology of the 80s with the classic appearance of the 60s

Verus classics is offering the vehicle for € 24.900,- (sold).
